What valuables are covered?

Overview

For our 5 star product, we can cover your valuable items if you choose to add Personal Possessions cover to your home insurance.  You must also let us know if any ‘high risk’ items you that are worth more that £1,500, or if your bike and accessories are worth a total of £500 or more.

You can choose to either insure these ‘specified items’ in the home only, in case they are stolen or damaged, or away from home too, which then means you are additionally covered if they’re lost.  Any items worth under these amounts will be automatically covered at home and outside.  Don’t forget that not all items of value are possessions like watches, phones or jewellery.  They can be clothes, furniture or collections such as stamps too.

High risk items include: articles of gold silver or other precious metals, computer equipment, furs, jewellery, mobile phones, paintings, stamp, coin, and medal collections, and watches. Please check with us on live chat if you’re not sure.

If you’d like to add Personal Possessions to your cover, or tell us about a specified item, this may change your premium. We can help you with this via live chat.
