Where can I drive?

Overview

We give all our policyholders 90 days of free cover per policy year, when driving in the Green Card Free Circulation Area.

That area includes Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland

This means you’ll have the same cover for 90 days per policy year as you have in the UK. If you have a comprehensive cover then this will apply for these 90 days. The 90 days don’t have to be used consecutively.

The cover also includes additional drivers on your policy.

There is no need to ask for additional documents from us, you no longer need a Green Card. Your Certificate of Insurance is all you need for  your proof of cover. You can find out more about driving in the EU here (hyper link to https://www.gov.uk/guidance/driving-in-the-eu_ )

You can find your Certificate by using the log in button below, logging in to your Account, then choosing ‘documents’.
